The King Kong Burger
when we first went there it looked pretty sketchy, but when we went in it was clean and pretty nice. There are 3 side items, fries (which you would regularly get),fried mushrooms and onion rings.I got the mushrooms and my mom got onion rings and I have to say they are really good.I didn't have the fries though. Now to the burger.BACON! This burger is awesome (Plus the fact of BACON) two burgers onions olive all the basic stuff over all 7/10. I really want to go back there and get another one. ----------Mattias (age 10)The Patty Melt
As described (and pictured) the exterior and neighborhood has left something to be desired. The interior, although small and threadbare, is exceptionally tidy and clean, though. I checked. In fact, I checked twice.
It might be argued that a Patty Melt is NOT a burger but it is what I ordered. I substituted onion rings in place of the fries that come with it. They were yummy. The Melt was yummy, too. It did have the added bonus of crispy bacon on it (which I am not used to on this particular sandwich) but it was a pleasant surprise. Isn't bacon ALWAYS a pleasant surprise?
On Mattias' scale of 1 to 10 I would probably rate my Patty Melt as a 6. I enjoyed it and would probably get it again...but not before I got all 3 of the burgers the rest of the family got. Those burgers were AMAZING. Huge, loaded and super tasty.
King Kone was definitely a good starting point for this summer blog! ---------Peggy (age...mom)
